ASV (เอเอสวี) นำโดย หมู-พลพัฒน์ อัศวะประภา ดีไซเนอร์และผู้ก่อตั้ง Asava Group เผยโฉมคอลเลกชั่น Asv Autumn/Winter ประจำปี 2020 ในครั้งนี้ เอเอสวีเลือกที่จะนำเสนอคาแรคเตอร์ในแง่มุมต่างๆ ของหญิงสาวในแบบฉบับเอเอสวี ที่ประกอบไปด้วยความอ่อนหวาน (Feminine) ความสนุกสนาน (Playful) และความเท่ (Masculine) แสดงออกผ่านภาพ Lookbook ในรูปแบบของภาพถ่าย Portrait หญิงสาวที่เป็นตัวแทนผู้หญิงในคาแรคเตอร์ต่างๆ โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากภาพถ่าย Portrait ของช่างภาพชื่อดังในตำนานที่ฝากผลงานแฟชั่น และภาพถ่ายบุคคลสำคัญต่างๆ เอาไว้อย่างไอร์วิง เพนน์ (Irving Penn) ที่สามารถสะท้อนตัวตนของผู้ที่ถูกถ่ายออกมาได้อย่างชัดเจน เพราะเราเชื่อว่ารูปที่ดีควรที่จะสื่อสารตัวตนของคนๆ นั้นออกมา คอลเลกชั่นนี้จึงเลือกที่จะนำเสนอวิธีการทำงานที่เรียบง่ายและสะท้อนตัวตนของแบรนด์ออกมาอย่างตรงไปตรงมา และเราเชื่อว่าความเรียบง่ายที่สวยงามคือสิ่งที่ผู้คนมองหามากที่สุดในช่วงเวลานี้

Silhouettes

                คอลเลกชั่นประจำฤดูใบไม้ผลิและฤดูหนาวในครั้งนี้นำเสนอภาพรวมของเสื้อผ้าในแบบฉบับแคชชวลในสไตล์ Lounge Wear ที่มีความสบาย และผ่อนคลายหากแต่ยังคงความพิเศษที่ไม่เหมือนใคร นอกเหนือจากการเน้นย้ำและต่อยอดโครงชุดที่เป็นซิกเนเจอร์ของแบรนด์ อย่างเสื้อไหล่เดียว (One-Shoulder) ชุดนอน (Pajamas) พอนโช (Poncho)
เสื้อนิตแวร์ (Knitwear) เดรสทรงฟิตแอนด์แฟลร์ (Fit&Flare Dress) ไปจนถึงการจับคู่แจ็คเก็ตตัวสั้นเข้ากับกางเกงทรงคูลอต (Cropped Jacket and Culottes) ที่นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งซิลูเอทที่ยังคงเน้นย้ำมาอย่างต่อเนื่องในทุกๆ ซีซั่น คอลเลกชั่นนี้ยังนำเสนอซิลูเอทใหม่อย่าง เสื้อเชิ้ตรักบี้ (Rugby Shirt) ที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากสไตล์ไอวีลีก (Ivy League) นำมาดัดแปลงผสมผสานให้มีความเฟมินีนมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยยังคงกลิ่นอายของการผสมผสานระหว่างสปอร์ตแวร์กับเฟมินีน ซึ่งเป็นวิธีการทำงานที่สะท้อนถึงตัวตนในแบบฉบับเอเอสวีที่ผสมผสานองค์ประกอบที่ขัดแย้งแต่เกิดเป็นผลลัพธ์ที่สะกดสายตา และมีความน่าสนใจได้อย่างลงตัว

In portrait photography there is something more profound we seek inside a person, while being painfully aware that a limitation of our medium is that the inside is recordable only so far as it is apparent on the outside.’ – Irving Penn. Inspired by acclaimed photographer Irving Penn’ renowned portraits, his works capture and express personality and soul of the subject, this season Asv expresses the collection and personalities of Asv women described as feminine, playful and masculine through the use of portrait photography. Beyond beauty and concrete image, good portrait conveys the characteristic of the subject that resonate so powerfully with viewers. Portrait is one of the many forms of self-expression as much as clothing. These impression are captured and translated as the heart and soul of Asv Autumn/Winter 2020 Collection.

Silhouettes

Asv Autumn/Winter 2020 collection incorporates the brand signature silhouettes with the casual form of loungewear influence, focusing on easy everyday collection that adopts modern design, relaxed silhouettes and sportswear elements. This collection deep dives into the brand signature silhouettes such as One-shoulder, Pajamas, Poncho, Knitwear, Fit and Flare Dress as well as signature combination Cropped Jacket paired with Culottes, accompanied by the American Preppy-inspired Rugby Shirt which is reinvented in a more feminine shape.

To highlight the contrasting game, Asv puts together contrasting elements to create unique and one-of-a kind result. Likewise, Asv women’s eclectic mix of style, a mash-up of masculinity and femininity, modern clean line and playful element, is passed down to the detail and techniques used in the collection. This collection features the brand signature details such as elastic belt with gold button detail, grosgrain ribbon trimming along with the key techniques featured throughout the collection such as color blocking, draping, together with sequin embroidery technique as seen on the basic items like shirt and shirt dress as a way to create interesting texture to elevate your everyday essentials.

Presented as relaxed loungewear collection, Asv Autumn/Winter 2020 features the wide range of comfy and relaxed fabrics from the signature striped fabric in various sizes, to the feminine floral printed fabric and knitted fabric. Colors such as white, black, beige, navy, brown as well as olive green have always been the go to color palettes that represent the prominent characteristic of asv women, which this season is accompanied by the scatter of pastel and vibrant colors such as lemon green, fuchsia rose and, dusk blue to add a touch of playful spirit to the collection.
